Xiaomi's MIUI ROM for use in its devices is one of the most polarized ROMs on the market. People hate or like it. There is no intermediate point in the middle. However, even if you belong to the latter category, you are accepting that the notification management of the ROM is corrupted. I mean the iOS notification center is not good, but it's not as good as it comes with stock Android. Also, if you feel the same way, I am happy to know that there is a simple way to import the Android Android Notification Center into the MIUI ROM without giving up on the ROM's excellent functionality. Let's see how we can do it. Here's how to buy a notification center like MIUI's Android.
MIUI's Inventory Importing Notification Center Like Android
It will be a very easy tutorial and I will not be spending much time, so I will start taking out the phone.
#1: We will use a third-party app called Material Notification Shade to get Android UI inventory of Android from MIUI. First, download and install the free app.
#2: Now run the app. You can change various settings on your app's homepage. First, we give the app the necessary permissions. To do this, tap the toggle on / off at the top of the apps screen (shown in the picture).
#3: Now tap all three required permissions, and then follow the steps shown on your smartphone to grant permissions.
#4: After you have granted the necessary permissions, tap on the “Done” button.
#6: You can configure the Themes settings and play along with the rest. First, tap "Panel Theme" and choose what you want. I am going to go to the Oreo theme.
#7: Next, tap the "Notification Theme" button and choose what you want. I am going to go with a dark theme.
Likewise, the remaining options can be configured as desired. The most important part of this app is that it not only skins the Notification Panel, it also provides the functionality of the Android Android Notification Panel. For example, you can expand notifications with just one finger and reply from the Notifications panel without starting the app. Let's see what the Notification panel looks like with the changes we've made so far. The figure below shows the original MIUI notification panel and a new panel that we created side by side.
This app not only makes your notifications look good, but it also provides additional features. However, we found a bug in the app in the test. When you swipe anywhere on the screen to bring up the notification window, the original notification panel of MIUI will be displayed without taking over the app. But when you swipe from the top, it works perfectly. Depending on how you view it, it may be a bug or a feature.
